Instructions and Help about how do i get a dd214 for my deceased father

Hi I'm combat Craig and today we're going to talk about organizing your C file once you get it from the Veterans Administration you probably filled out a FOIA request for your C file and it's probably been a few months and you finally got your CD containing your C file in the mail now you have it and now we're going to talk about how to organize it and how to use it so it will help you with your VA claim your C file will most likely be in PDF format and if it's not it'll probably be in a format that is something you can transfer into a PDF format in any event you'll want to find a PDF editor like Adobe Acrobat DC or something like that and you'll want to come up with a system to index your C file specifically numbering the pages so you can go in and do something as simple as add a header and put page 0:01 on the first page and it'll go through and number all your pages for you once you have all your pages numbered then you'll want to come up with a system to catalog your C file spreadsheet is a good way to do this you could put your page number the date in another field and then have a field that has a brief explanation of the symptom that you found or the problem that you found if you have a symptom such as PTSD you're going to want to look through your newly indexed and cataloged C file for things that support your PTSD claim so you want to look for things in your medical records did you go see a shrink while you were in the service when you got out did you go talk to the VA shrinks are their notes and dates if you're a combat veteran and you have your dd-214 you'll want to see if the dd-214 that they have matches up because if you're a combat veteran it'll say right on there what period of time you served in a combat zone as you continue to review your C file you're going to look for errors as well when they digitized to these things a few years ago they turned a whole bunch of paper into a whole bunch of digital files so files got mixed up and it's possible that you could have blatant errors in your C file such as your records are not in there or somebody's somebody else's records are in there if that's the case you'll already have a indexing system and a spreadsheet to make notes of these issues so you can address them with the VA so to wrap things up we talked about indexing your C file by using a PDF editor like Adobe Acrobat DC and we also talked about creating a spreadsheet so you can have all the things that you're looking for easily accessible

How to make facial hair grow?
If your body were to grow beard, it would have done it anyhow naturally, and you would have had a fully grown, nice, big, bushy beard even before completing your teens. However, for those like me, less blessed in the matter of beards, and hence craving to grow a nice one to look sexually more appealing, I’ve the following suggestions.Firstly, don’t use beard oils. Mind it, these oils won't help you grow even a single new beard hair. Also, the claim by the manufacturers, of accelerated growth of existing beard hair, is a load of bullshit. I've used such an entire 50ml bottle of beard oil. I used it as directed on its package, i.e., twice daily on the face after a face wash. The bottle takes around 2 months to get over and within that duration of 2 months, I used to shave occasionally. After the bottle got over, I didn't shave for next 2 months, whereas, the package said only 1 month, to see a nice growth of new beard hair. But all that grew was a Chinese moustache and goatee, which was growing anyway even without using that oil.And oh yes, have a nice burst of ugly and very stubborn pimples instead of beard hair.Next, let’s discuss about shaving. I suggest don't shave yourself, go to a saloon instead. Ask them to use that razor in which they insert half cut blades, also tell them to shave really close and insist on using alum stone as an aftershave.Having said that, I don't suppose that the ultra modern saloons use that primitive razor or alum stone, so try desi saloons instead. Give this a try, a well experienced barber will give you a very close shave. You won’t get that by yourself, shaving with a so called modern razor. A close shave seems to help sprout more hair.I recommend you to observe the following 3–1 routine. Go for a shave to a saloon once a week for 3 months. Then do a progress check, i.e, let your beard grow for 1 month. If you are not satisfied, then again go for once a week shave for 3 months. Follow this 3–1 routine till you get proper amount of beard hair. Once you are satisfied you may let your beard grow as much as you wish.I’m following this routine and it seems to work for me. However, I don’t claim that it’ll work for everyone. Needless to say, it requires a lot of patience.Indulge in heavy exercises to boost your testosterone levels. This in turn will promote your beard growth.ALSO, you need to throw away any skin products containing turmeric. Turmeric is known to destroy hair right from the roots. That's why women in South apply turmeric powder paste to get rid of body hair. I wish I’d known this much earlier because I was a loyal user of Vicco turmeric face cream for more than 5 years. Now I’m cursing myself for using it.Consult a dermatologist for beard growth. He might wave a magic wand (don't take it literally!!).Finally, the following link seems promising too. How exactly can I get out of this comfort zone by motivating myself?
10 Ways to Get out of your comfort zone:Give more money than you feel comfortable with away tomorrow (amount is usually relative on your current situation)Answer a call from an unknown number. Even better if it's a debt collectorDo something others are waiting for someone else to do. Today at the post office, there was a long line. There was no one answering the door there to pick up packages. People would come in, ring the bell and wait. All of us in line knew they were wasting their time, but said nothing because we didn't want to look weird. I didn't say anything, so I failed at this because I didn't want to "stand out"Invite someone you don't know to meet for coffee (someone in your field). Don't stop at a no response, wait for someone to say No or the more common "My schedule is very busy, maybe another time."(A polite No)Talk to someone in an elevator. It's regularly NEVER done by 99% of people. You'll find most people are really pleasant, but no one wants to say the first word.If a waiter or barista or anyone messes up something today (work included). Don't "be nice" and let it go. That's back talk for "not wanting to make waves." Be polite and ask them to correct the mishap. My wife, infant and I were out at a restaurant and a waiter hadn't greeted us to start for over 10 minutes. My inners were saying, "Oh, don't worry someone will notice you, just sit tight." That's your inner back talk "wimp" voice. So, I got up, went to the manager and told him (politely) to have a waiter sent over immediately. They offered us a free appetizer for the mishap.Every person you walk past today, give a smile and "hello." Most people wait for the other person and then it just looks sad as 2 glum faces make eye contact. We don't want to look too "eager" or "weird." Do it, most will return it.As Matt said, ask for a discount somewhere. It doesn't have to be Starbucks. I just had a late fee on a credit card. My inners are telling me, "you deserve it, just let it go." I swallowed, dialed the bank, asked them to remove the late fee, and they did. Ask and you shall receive. At any point in the day you realize you haven't exercised at all (typically when you're in a lazy position) immediately get up and do a set of 25 pushups. It's hard. I'll couple this willpower exercise with getting up right when the alarm goes off. Immediately. Not even 10 seconds later. Right away. It's this same muscle that pushes you that builds new habits.Write a FB status about a failure you've had, or a personal story about struggle (without the "feel sorry for me" feel to it). When no one comments, celebrate the rejection. I once posted a status about one of my most embarrassing moments in my life on FB (from HS, I was in a talent show, everyone was looking forward to our band playing, I couldn't hear myself over the drums, I knew I sounded terrible based on the looks in the crowd, so I faked a cough to get off stage). NO ONE commented on FB. Awkward.
How do I get out of needing my mother's signature for the FAFSA (father deceased) and become an independent student? She is mentally abusive and has used my fafsa to hold over me in the past.
I don’t know what a FAFSA is, so can’t answer with any authority on that, but there is such a thing as making your independence a legal matter. It involves our being a be to prove that you can exist independently, support yourself without help, make your own decisions without guidance and other signs of independence and maturity. You would be called an “emancipated minor” and your parents would have no further obligation to support, guide, or otherwise direct your life, as you have proven to a court that you no longer need that from them. Are you ready for THAT?? If not, then you are going to remain in the household wth your mother, abusive or not. If you are being so abused that it should come to attention of the court, you could be placed in a foster home or some other place where she is not allowed free access to you. Other than those options, I can’t think of any way to achieve what you want to achieve. If you are fortunate enough to have a school counselor, ask that person and you might get a much better and more appropriate answer to your question than I gave above. Good luck!!
How do I fill out the FAFSA for my son if his stepfather doesn't want to pay for his college?
Filling out the FAFSA does not obligate anyone to pay for anything. It is just determining how much aid the student can qualify for.All students who file a FAFSA can take a student loan in their own name, starting at $5,500 freshman year, If the family income is low enough, the student can get a Pell Grant, which doesn’t have to be repaid, for up to $6,095 per year. In addition the student may qualify for state aid or aid from the college. If you don’t file the FAFSA the student can’t get this aid (loans may be an exception), he can’t even get work/study and he certainly can’t get any free money he is eligible for.
How do I find out if my recently deceased father had a life insurance policy?
The fastest way to find out if he had a life insurance policy is to search his papers or computer for a copy of his policy, but if that’s not possible, there are other options. If you have access to bank statements, you should be able to find evidence of premium payments — that should tip you off to the name of the insurer, which you can then contact directly. If your dad was still working, you should contact the benefits administrator at his workplace and ask if he was covered by a group policy. If he was part of a union, contact the union. You can also request a search from NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners). You’ll need info from the death certificate in order to conduct a query, and it can take 90 days for the results to come back, as they are asking every insurance company in their network to search their rolls. This article goes into more detail on each of these steps: How to Find the Life Insurance Policy of a Deceased Person
